I Can Do Hard Things, Inc., is a non-profit company established to host and organize the“No Boundaries” expedition. The mission of I Can Do Hard Things is to increase the awareness of autism and to raise funds to support the many families struggling to receive the costly care that children with autism face.
On World Autism Awareness Day, April, 2nd 2013, two friends, Ben Dodge and Bacho Vega, will begin their journey of 2,000+ miles to raise awareness for autism, and to show families that are affected by this disorder that there are no boundaries and no limitations on what they can achieve.
On Saturday, July 28th 2012 Williams WOD will be hosted by CrossFit Preferred in Gilbert Arizona at 3244 E Guadalupe Suite 101, 85234. The gym is located right next to Tia Rosa’s Mexican Restaurant and the event will be held from 7:00 to 10:00am.
All regularly scheduled classes on Saturday, July 28th at GCF will be cancelled to fully support this event. Please come out and show support for your community. GCF will be open gym on Sunday, July 29th from 8am to 10am to make up for the classes cancelled on the 28th.
Williams WOD is sure to be a community affair with family friendly athletic and festival events to kick off the fundraising efforts! Come out and support Autism Awareness! Participate in the W.O.D. (workout of the day) named after Ben & Sonja’s son William, bring your kids for the “Kid’s Obstacle Course.” Come and see the a Fire Truck provided by the Gilbert Fire Department. There will be plenty of vendors, shopping, breakfast, and athletic competitions for all levels of fitness! This is definitely a community effort. Come out and enjoy the festival!
